Then for WEEKS, MONTHS even, Mitch will be humming songs from wtv they watched. Even if they didn't like it that much, like I can already hear them humming Tomorrow from Annie, just constantly

greetings followers who are forced to listen to me ramble about @magebunkshelf's writing and theories and stuff, there is now another cipher that's been out for a few weeks now and I shall talk about this cipher!

behold the series emblem of the facility! When I was looking at the different series emblems since all of them are now out I noticed that this one looks like it has a cipher somewhere in it since this is the Facility we're talking about and the other series emblems are not this fancy so I spent a morning looking into it.

the top pair of wings looks like a standard design choice so I ignored those to look at the bottom pair. I then decided to put the text inside of the equals signs into a 32 bit converter which gave out a slightly corrupted version of this text "Guilde d’étude des phénomènes anormaux" which in french stood for "Guild for the study of anomalous phenomena".

So yes the french is in fact canon to Mitch's world and have a part of the facility in France. I believe this does imply that the Facility works globally as seen with the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. I do theorize that the facility did start in Europe in around the 17-1800's especially with the translated name referring to the facility as a guild which may have evolved over time into just the Facility.

YIKES it looked better in my head! Though I guess this is what happens when u get art block but also want to finish the short animation in one night..

Some animation practice using Mitch the raccoon but I pretty much half-assed this with a dead, tired brain. I'll have to learn how to do more smoother animation next time! (Perhaps also a better animating app..)

RAGHHH this probably does NOT make any sense at all but I need these thought to go somewhere so…

Tethys

I think she would use the dapple dualies. She likes to be at the front of the line in the heat of battle splatting her opponents. This helps Charis a bunch so she can ink turf. When she is t playing turf war with Charis do not make her ink base she’ll be very angry with you but she’ll still it… kinda

Tethys’s favourite special is either splashdown, kraken, or tentamissles

Charis

Big swig. While Tethys is splatting the enemy team Charis is inking as much turf as possible. She helps Tethys by staying back to ink turf. You can’t have one without the other. If she’s not playing with Tethys she’s probably doing side order or something.

Charis’s favourite special is probably reefslider or tacticooler



Zef

I see him as a REEF-LUX 450 kinda guy. He can paint turf pretty easily and he uses strategy, like using the curling bomb to move through ink and going back to spawn to use the tentamissles.

His favourite special is probably tentamissles or BOOYAH-bomb he definitely presses the booyah button at the start of every match

Sera

He probably uses the E-litre 4K. It’s his main but he’s flexible and doesn’t mind using other weapons. His splat(kill) count is always the highest of every match.

His favourite special is definitely ink vac.

Bodie

He hasn’t figured out how to go to the weapon shop and use the licenses 😭 so he just uses the default weapon you get from the tutorial. He really likes it tho he grown to be every good with it.

His favourite special is ink armour.

Marco

Octo brush is his main that’s all I wanna say maybe the splatana wiper depends on the game mode. He is also 100% X-rank just casually.

Rain is probably his favourite special.

Timmy

The tri-stringer. He uses the tri-stringer. It’s arguably not a good weapon but knows how to use it pretty well.

His favourite special is reefslider.

Sploosh-o-matic. He loves when his other teammates all have the same weapon its actually kinda funny when that happens because of how much turf this weapon inks.

His favourite special is definitely crab tank maybe.

I've said it before and I want to say it again...and add to it

Roomie is autistic, sometimes when they develop a new hyperfixation/ special interest and want to talk about it late at night they'll perch on the arm of the couch and just wait there until Mitch wakes up. They wake up and the first thing they see is this ->

They don't move when they wake up, they just sit there and talk for hours. Mitch is used to this, they expect it honestly. Though the first time they literally thought they were about to be murdered

Hey there! I'm sorry, it's difficult to know what to say! x.x I'm not sure where you're at so far but honestly the best way to figure out things like new software is to throw yourself at it and make something, just something small, anything! Figuring out the process is like a huge jigsaw, it feels daunting at the start but as you piece tiny bits together the full picture starts to emerge.

I made a little post a while back about some things I've learned to help get started making audios, I'll link it here in case it helps, and if there's anything more specific you're struggling with or would like to ask please feel free!

mid week analysis!

so on Monday @magebunkshelf posted an announcement saying that there will be vamp hunt 5 coming this weekend and changed the thumbnails of the current audios in the vamp hunt series to fit the rebrand and so I have decided to analyze these thumbnails because why not? I will also analyze the small sneak peaks that was posted in the server as well but I will put that analysis under a read more. anyways lets get into this!

I shall be using this thumbnail as my example for everything that I want to talk about.

first off this symbol. we know many series will have their own symbol and that this is the vamp hunter's symbol which I love. it looks like a crossbow with a pair of bat wings which I love. first the crossbow part representing our favorite vampire hunter, David since crossbows are commonly depicted as vampire hunting weapons. the bat wings represent Batsy and with the wings combined into the crossbow represent the two sides working together! the reedmace did a great job keeping it symbol yet also showing that they are willing to work together to deal with threats.

second thing that I want to talk about is the background. It still uses the classic mage background but this time in a nice sweet red which I believe corresponds with this series specifically which I'll get into later.

this symbol here tells the viewer that the audio is a part of the Mitch's World universe and there will be symbols for self contained and the plane stories as well. One thing I find interesting is the pattern in the letters with how the connection from the M to the W transitions to white. most likely just a stylistic choice but still interesting to point out.

last thing that I'll talk about before the sneak peeks is that all the current audios with new thumbnails has a some vcr like overlay on it most obvious in this thumbnail.

again, likely another stylistic choice but it makes me wonder if the facility knows about them and if other series' thumbnails will also have it.

these are the 4 spoiler images we got from the discord server (and also obligatory moon sighting!!!1!!) there isn't that much but there is still information to gleam from them and also make theories while we wait. First off I think the one with the moon is possibly the thumbnail of the moon landing audio since it shows the moon and that it is much more glitchy than any of the other sneak peaks.

the other three are most likely from different series and I think I may be able to guess which ones just by the colors and the last image, the text.

Image one, I have no idea. possibly moth audio since in the mage wiki page on the series in Mitch's world, each multipart series has a color attached to it with the moth listener having the lightest color among all of them as seen in the image below

there's also some weight in this theory since the vamp hunter audios are red in both the thumbnail and in this list. now, what the symbol is? no idea, we'll find out this weekend.

image 3? it's Mitch's series partially because of the color list theory and that the symbol of what we can see looks like a raccoon.

pic 4 I believe is the merfolk listener audio since even though there isn't a color associated with it, the visible are and the light blue coloring makes me believe that is the thumbnail for that audio. anyways, time to wait for the weekend to come for me to do more analysis. good night everyone!
